Carina Botes

Carina rehabilitates patients through acute and post-acute care, with a special interest in intensive care and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, helping patients rebuild strength and breathing after cardiac and thoracic surgery, critical illness, and spinal cord injury. She earned her BSc in physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University and built her acute care experience at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, working across intensive care units and medical, surgical, neurology, cardiothoracic, and orthopaedic wards.
