Dr. Hanan treats depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders including panic, social anxiety, and OCD, alongside personality disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia, and other psychotic disorders. Her subspecialty expertise is transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), a non-medication treatment and the subject of her published research in OCD. She helped establish the TMS unit at Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital in Dubai after over five years' clinical TMS experience in Egypt, and has lectured at Mohammed Bin Rashid University and the University of Sharjah.
