About

Dr. Hussam performs general and acute care surgery and surgical oncology, with particular expertise in thyroid cancer surgery. Much of his work is laparoscopic (keyhole), which means smaller incisions and a faster recovery for suitable patients. He holds an MD and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow, having built his academic and clinical practice at Tawam Hospital.
