Mediclinic Welcare Hospital is home to the UAE's first internationally accredited Centre of Excellence in Prostate Treatment, and still the only one of its kind in the country. It's one of five Centres at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital recognised by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC). Hospitals earn SRC accreditation through an independent assessment of surgical volumes, patient outcomes, and clinical protocols, and it's held by only a small number of facilities worldwide. Mediclinic Welcare Hospital was also the first hospital in the MENA region to offer the iTind procedure, a minimally invasive treatment for an enlarged prostate.
Our general and laparoscopic surgical team, one of the most experienced in the region, handles everything from routine procedures through to highly complex cases, using minimally invasive techniques where possible to support a quicker recovery.
Our 24/7 emergency department includes a dedicated Fast Track service, so if you have a less complex injury or illness, you're assessed, treated, and discharged faster.
