About

Dr. Roopali cares for term and preterm babies in neonatal intensive care, performs neonatal functional echocardiography - detailed ultrasound assessment of the newborn heart and circulation - and follows babies' development up to age two. She champions family-centred and developmental care, and has helped several neonatal units achieve UNICEF Baby Friendly accreditation. She trained in paediatrics and neonatology in the UK, led postgraduate neonatology training in Doha, launching its first neonatal fellowship, and has received Innovations Awards at UK national conferences.
