Dr. Wagdy Mikhail

Dr. Wagdy carries out diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy - volume matters in endoscopy, and he has performed around 25,000 upper and 16,000 lower procedures - alongside video capsule endoscopy, FibroScan for non-invasive assessment of liver fibrosis, and colorectal cancer screening. He manages liver disorders including hepatitis and liver transplant follow-up, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, motility disorders, and oesophageal disease including reflux. He helped establish the Digestive Disease and Endoscopy Unit at Rashid Hospital in Dubai.
