About the package
Mediclinic Middle East's delivery packages in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain combine normal or caesarean delivery care with a standard private room, routine newborn services, and key hospital care in one self-pay package.
If you would like a different room type, VIP, VVIP, Suite, and Royal suite upgrades are also available at an additional nightly charge.
Package options
Normal delivery
AED 14,000 – standard private room, normal delivery charges, and newborn routine charges
Instrumental delivery
AED 15,400 – standard private room, normal delivery with instruments, newborn routine charges
Caesarean section delivery
AED 24,000 – standard private room, caesarean delivery, consumables, and newborn routine charges
Package inclusions
- Labour ward care
- Laboratory investigations including haemoglobin, one blood group, cross-match, and reservation of one unit of blood
- Two blood gas analyses for the newborn
- Newborn blood typing (ABO and Rh(D)), Bilicheck, and total bilirubin
- Two-night hospital stay for normal delivery, including labour room and the patient's dietary meals
- Three-night hospital stay for caesarean delivery, including the patient's dietary meals
- Obstetrician's fee for Mediclinic Middle East doctors
- Paediatrician consultation during the hospital stay
- Newborn screening test
- Newborn hearing test
- Newborn vaccination: BCG and hepatitis B
Exclusions
- Epidural anaesthesia
- Blood transfusion and blood products
- Blood tests or medication for you or your baby that are not already included in the package
- NICU admission and stay
- Circumcision
- Treatment of complications and associated conditions
- Care for additional newborns, including paediatric consultations, vaccinations, and newborn screening, charged at actual cost
- Take-home medication and personal items
- Other specialist consultations
Room upgrades
Royal suite: AED 14,000 per night
Suite: AED 14,000 per night
VVIP room: AED 9,500 per night
VIP room: AED 2,500 per night
Terms, conditions, and exclusions
- Optional services are ordered only if required by the doctor.
- Charges for any other speciality consultations are not included.
- The package is not covered by insurance and requires self-funding.
- Take home medication and items of personal nature are not included.
- If additional stay days are required, extra will be charged as per the occupied room. Extra doctor's rounding fees will also be charged.
- The number of nights stay will depend on clinical necessity; however, coverage is limited to the maximum nights stated in the inclusions section.
