- Katie is a UK-trained physiotherapist who graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Salford. She is fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK and is licensed to practise by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
Prior to moving to the UAE, Katie worked as a Senior Physiotherapist at a specialist orthopaedic hospital in the UK. This role provided her with extensive experience managing a varied caseload, treating patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as providing gym-based and post-operative rehabilitation.
Katie has a broad background in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy, with particular clinical interests in the knee, shoulder and spine. She has extensive experience in the assessment and management of back and neck pain, shoulder conditions, knee injuries, and pre- and post-operative rehabilitation.
She takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to rehabilitation and pain management, combining detailed assessment and clinical reasoning with evidence-based treatment and exercise. Katie strongly believes in educating and empowering patients to better understand their condition and take an active role in their recovery, with the ultimate aim of helping them confidently return to the activities, exercise and sports they enjoy.
Her approach is centred around providing individualised rehabilitation programmes that are tailored to each patient’s goals, needs and lifestyle, while supporting them to achieve long-term improvements in movement, function and quality of life.
