- Dr. Omar is a British trained doctor with more than 19 years of clinical experience and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners England (UK). He has a special interest in Type 2 diabetes management in primary care and has an accredited degree by Teeside University in managing people with type 2 diabetes. Dr Omar also has interest in chronic conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and ischemic heart disease. For the past five years he has been working full time as a family medicine consultant in West Yorkshire/ England where he multi-tasked between seeing patients in clinic and at home, dealing with emergencies and troubleshooting problems. Throughout his practice he has continued to keep up to date with latest medical knowledge and skills by attending courses. Dr. Omar is a fully licensed family medicine consultant with the Dubai Health Authority.
