During your stay
Whether you're staying for a night or longer, we want you to feel comfortable, cared for and clear on what to expect, including your rights as a patient, set out in the policy below.

Admission
When you're being admitted to a Mediclinic Middle East hospital, arrive at your agreed admission time and report to the admissions office. Once we've verified your identity, insurance details and admission documents, we'll guide you through registration and take you to your ward or room, where our nursing team will carry out an initial assessment, explain what to expect during your stay, and begin preparing you for your treatment or surgery.
Staying safe and supported
You can reach your care team at any time using the nurse call system at your bedside. Your primary nurse and physician are your main point of contact for updates on your care, and our Unit Manager or Patient Experience team are on hand if you need extra support.
During registration, you'll give general consent to treatment and how we handle your medical information. Before any procedure or surgery, your physician will explain the benefits, risks, alternatives, and what to expect, so you can ask questions and decide with confidence.
We ask everyone to practise good hand hygiene throughout their stay. Where extra precautions are needed, such as isolation measures or protective equipment, your care team will explain exactly what to do.
Making yourself at home
We want your stay to feel comfortable, with care that’s built around you and coordinated across your whole team. Most of our hospitals have cafés and gift shops on site, so you and your visitors can grab something to eat or pick up essentials during your stay.
