Mediclinic Perform
Sports medicine, rehabilitation, and performance testing to help you recover from injury, understand how you move, and train with better information.

From injury treatment to performance data
Mediclinic Perform brings sports medicine, rehabilitation, and performance testing together for professional athletes, recreational exercisers, and anyone who wants to move or train more effectively.
You might come to us because something hurts, because you’re returning after injury, or because you want a clearer picture of your strength, movement, fitness, or training needs. Sports physicians, physiotherapists, sports therapists, orthopaedic sports surgeons, and performance specialists can combine clinical assessment with rehabilitation, treatment, and performance technologies to help decide what happens next.
Available at selected Mediclinic Middle East hospitals.

Sports therapy
Assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for sports and activity-related injuries, with support for strength, conditioning, injury prevention, and returning to activity.

Sports medicine from diagnosis to recovery
Our sports medicine teams offer surgical and non-surgical care, with knee, shoulder, and hip specialists. Care covers acute injuries, chronic pain, overuse, rehabilitation, and return to sport, plus platelet-rich plasma, stem cells, and meniscus transplant where appropriate.
More ways to understand your performance
Mediclinic Perform can help you look beyond the injury itself and understand how your body moves, responds to exercise, and performs under different demands.
Depending on what you want to improve, assessment, rehabilitation, and training options can include:
- Athletic performance testing: A detailed assessment of athletic performance using tests such as running gait analysis, muscular endurance, jumps, squats, force-plate analysis, and hamstring testing.
- Junior performance testing: Performance testing for younger athletes using jump, squat, force-plate, and hamstring assessments to build an individual performance profile.
- Gait analysis: Assesses your walking pattern and biomechanics to identify problems that may be affecting movement or foot function.
- Running gait analysis: Uses treadmill-based motion analysis to assess running technique and support rehabilitation, footwear decisions, and performance improvement.
- Force-plate analysis: Uses force plates during movements such as jumps and squats to provide objective data about physical performance.
- Functional screening: Assesses how you move through a series of functional tests to identify areas that may need attention in training or rehabilitation.
- BioCircuit: A guided circuit-training system that automatically adjusts exercise, workload, pace, and rest to provide a personalised training programme.
- Bike fitment: Combines bike-specific fitting with a physiotherapy assessment of your anatomy and biomechanics to optimise your position on the bike.
- TPI-certified golf assessment: Uses the TPI physical screen to assess movement quality, swing characteristics, and physical ability in relation to your golf performance.
- CrossFit Clinic: Specialist physiotherapy for CrossFit athletes, covering injury assessment and rehabilitation, load management, technical analysis, corrective exercise, and performance.
The aim is to use the right information to shape rehabilitation, training, injury prevention, or performance goals.

Put your aerobic fitness to the test
VO2 max measures the maximum oxygen your body can use during exercise. At Mediclinic Perform, you’ll test on a treadmill or bike while specialist equipment analyses your breathing. The result objectively measures aerobic fitness and can help set personalised training zones.
