The Urgent Care Centre at Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital deals with all kinds of emergencies and we have experts who are trained to deal with different kinds of emergency situations. The department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Services include but not limited to:
- Heart-related emergencies: heart attacks, chest pain or irregular heartbeats
- Severe injuries: fractures, cuts or injuries resulting from accidents
- Breathing problems: difficulty breathing, asthma attacks or choking
- Infections and sudden illnesses: high fever, severe infections, sudden abdominal pain, abscesses
- Paediatric emergencies: emergencies related to children, such as high fever or injuries
- ENT emergencies: nosebleeds, foreign bodies stuck in the nose or ear, ear pain
- Eye emergencies: foreign body in the eye, sudden redness or loss of vision
- Abdominal emergencies: food poisoning, vomiting, diarrhoea, blood in the stools
- Surgical emergencies: acute appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, obstructive jaundice, acute cholecystitis, biliary colic
- Orthopaedic and trauma emergencies: fractures, dislocations and treatment of open wounds in emergency situations
