- Dr Fatma Magoury is a specialist psychiatrist. She received her bachelor’s degree in 2012 from Zagazig University, her fellowship of the Egyptian board in 2020, and the Arab board of Psychiatry in 2022. She has been certified as a consultant psychiatrist in the Egyptian Syndicate since 2022.
Dr. Fatma completed her residency training in one of the oldest and largest tertiary psychiatric hospitals in Cairo (Abbassia Psychiatric Hospital) and started her professional career in the largest Arabic psychiatric online platform in the world.
Dr. Fatma received additional training courses in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from Beck Institute, treatment of trauma by EMDR from Trauma Aid UK, and motivational interviewing courses.
She has been a part of several workshops and conferences about different psychiatric disorders and treatment.
She also has extensive experience in cognitive behavioural therapy of depression, OCD and personality disorders, treatment of psychiatric traumas by EMDR, and supportive psychotherapy.
