- Carina obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in 2008. Prior to moving to the UAE, she worked as Senior Physiotherapist in Groote Schuur Hospital where she gained experience in all aspects of physiotherapy.
- She has worked with patients in ICUs, resuscitation units and all associated wards, including medical, surgical, neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, cardiothoracics, orthopaedics as well as spinal cord injuries. She has also provided care to patients with neuromusculoskeletal problems as well as attended to patients in the hand, amputation and haemophilia clinics. She is experienced in handling both adult and paediatric patients with conditions ranging from intermediate to advanced level. Carina joins Mediclinic from Amana Healthcare, Abu Dhabi.
