Christof has over five years of experience in the field of Physiotherapy, covering both in- and outpatient treatment. He has special interests in sport injuries and other musculoskeletal conditions. He also has experience in pulmonology, paediatrics, neurology, intensive care patients and trauma/surgery cases.
Assessment and treatment of sports injuries such as overuse and/or trauma, enables him to create a specialised rehabilitation care plan along with the guidance of the referring specialist. Professional athletes competing on provincial, national and international level are treated in a holistic approach in order to get them back in the field with minimal downtime.
He also offers effective management of a variety of spinal conditions and cervicogenic headaches, acute/sub-acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions as well as long term rehabilitation programmes.
Christof continues to enhance his skills level and has completed the following courses
- McKenzie Part A: Lumbar Spine
- McKenzie Part B: Cervical and Thoracic Spine
- Basic Life Support Certificate
- Dry Needling
- Myofascial triggerpoint
