Dr. Gulsha is an honours graduate of Karnataka University, India, where he received his Basic Medical Diploma in 1996. In 2000, Dr. Gulsha moved to Saudi Arabia for his first job as General Practitioner at Mohammed Dossary Hospital in Al Khober. In 2004 Dr Gulsha achieved his ECFMG certification and licensing from the Federal State Medical Board of the USA. In 2005 he joined Mediclinic Welcare Hospital as Senior Registrar in Emergency Medicine. In 2008 he joined Mediclinic City Hospital as an emergency physician, and at the same time was granted MRCGP membership from the Royal College (UK). In 2010 he joined Mediclinic Mirdif as a specialist in Family Medicine.
Dr. Gulsha has become highly proficient in a variety of clinical procedures and has been responsible for providing general medicine outpatient health care services to all groups of patients including newborn, paediatrics, adolescents and geriatrics. He strongly believes in preventative health care and screening.
As a family doctor his aim is to provide complete medical care for your family, with the added comfort and confidence that comes from knowing that your doctor knows you, not just as an individual, but as part of your family support system.
Dr. Gulsha's areas of interest include family health, minor surgical procedures such as repair of lacerations, incision and drainage, excision of cyst, skin lesions, and lipomas, in-growing nail surgery, management of acute musculoskeletal injuries and emergency medicine practice at primary care level. He can handle most acute medical needs of the family as well as ongoing chronic condition such diabetes, hypertension, bronchial asthma, thyroid disorders, hyperlipidemia and many more.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and Royal College of General Practitioners, UK.
