- Summary
- Rosie graduated from Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK in 2016. Since then, she has worked in a variety of areas across the NHS and private sector in the UK, specialising in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy. She is known for her empathetic and patient-centered approach, whilst also using evidence based knowledge to help people on the road to recovery.
She has a true passion for health and wellbeing and this shows through her holistic approach to treating patients.
Rosie has specific interests in post-operative rehabilitation, as well as treating back pain and lower limb injuries. Personally, Rosie understands the patient journey from a back pain perspective as she experienced a back injury in 2021. This required dedicated and consistent rehabilitation, which has given her a deeper understanding of how to manage these injuries effectively. She is experienced in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions, utilising skills and knowledge gained from her previous NHS and sports injury clinic roles. She also has extensive experience working alongside a variety of athletes - she has worked in basketball, rugby and football mainly but also has experience working with volleyball and hockey athletes. She is also qualified in dry needling and sports massage.
Rosie has always had a passion for staying active and living a healthy lifestyle. She believes strongly in practicing what you preach as a physiotherapist. When she is not in clinic, you will find her learning new skills on an aerial hoop, at the gym, paddle boarding at the beach or hiking in nature.
