Summary
Nirvana is a reputable and experienced physiotherapist offering a wide range of recovery-focused treatments to ensure her patients rehabilitate and improve their overall wellbeing. In 1999 she obtained her BSc Physiotherapy Degree from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa, after which she had started her career as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and clinic supervisor in the public sector.
Before moving to Dubai in 2011, she started her career in the UAE at Tawam Hospital, Al Ain 2003, where she specialized in treating In-patients (Spinal, Orthopedics, Oncology and ICU) and in Outpatients (musculoskeletal conditions). As a senior therapist, she was also an educator specializing in ergonomics & BLS, training/supervising of the physiotherapy students and in organizing international speakers for conferences and workshops.
Nirvana joined Mediclinic in 2016 and has completed post-grad certifications in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT), manual therapy, musculoskeletal conditions and dry needling. She enjoys treating cervicogenic Headaches, Sports Injuries, Post-Surgical Rehabilitation and orthopaedic conditions.
