Juanita earned a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree and Diploma of Health Sciences from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and graduated in 2008. She also received her Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in 2013. She is a member of the Physiotherapists Registration Board of Victoria and the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Before joining Mediclinic, Ms. Beaman worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and Pilates instructor in Australia.
She has experience in physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation (including hydrotherapy) for a wide range of patients with musculoskeletal needs including inpatients, outpatients, and patients who have had joint replacements, back operations, sporting injuries, overuse injuries and a various orthopaedic conditions – both before and after operations. She has also provided physiotherapy rehabilitation to patients who have received emergency care who need initial mobility, neurological or musculoskeletal assessments and treatments, and working with doctors regarding a care and discharge plan for those patients.
Ms. Beaman has also provided antenatal and postnatal education classes for women, worked with the UAE Rugby Team and various sporting teams during her time in Australia and Dubai.
