Dr. Habiba Darafshian has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of dermatological conditions affecting both adults and children. These include eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, vitiligo, pigmentation disorders, autoimmune skin diseases, urticaria, leg ulcers, as well as hair and scalp disorders, nail conditions, and sexually transmitted diseases. She is highly experienced in skin cancer screening, early detection, and the treatment of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, including the management of precancerous lesions.

Her treatment approach includes topical, oral, and advanced biological therapies tailored to each patient’s condition, particularly for chronic and complex dermatological diseases. She performs a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including skin biopsies, full-body skin examinations, mole mapping, and dermatological surgery for the removal of moles and other skin growths. She is also experienced in photodynamic therapy (PDT), light-based treatments including UVA, UVB and PUVA, as well as diagnostic techniques such as Wood’s lamp examination and patch testing for allergic contact dermatitis.
