Patients at the Day Surgery unit are able to have have an operation or procedure, recover, and go home on the same day. The unit is supported by a range of additional services including on-site laboratory, pharmacy, radiology (including C-ARM fluoroscopy unit) and Mediclinic Dubai Mall’s private ambulance service for patient transfer to one of the group’s hospitals in case of emergency.
The unit comprises:
- Seven patient beds including one dedicated ICU bed
- Endoscopy suites
- One fully equipped operating room
- Two minor treatment rooms for local procedures
- Pre-operative admission area( pre/post op areas
- Recovery room
- Comfortable and large waiting area
- Convenient adjacent free parking
- Comprehensive diagnostic suite, including MRI, CT, x-ray and mammography
