- Dr Fatmah Al Zahmi is a US board-certified Consultant Neurologist and Head of the Neurology Department at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai. She completed dual fellowship training in Vascular Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine at leading academic institutions in the United States and holds American board certifications in Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Vascular Neurology.
An Emirati neurologist with extensive international training and clinical expertise, Dr Al Zahmi provides specialised care in stroke, neuromuscular disorders, and complex neuroimmunological conditions. She has a particular interest in stroke in young adults and women, as well as the diagnosis and long-term management of rare neuromuscular diseases including myasthenia gravis, inflammatory myopathies, motor neuron disorders, and neuropathies.
She performs advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as nerve conduction studies, electromyography (EMG), lumbar puncture, and intrathecal drug administration.
