- Dr. Ayesha Rashed Mohamed Al Mheiri is a Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist with extensive international training in the United Kingdom and Ireland. She earned her MBBS from the University of Sharjah, is Arab Board–certified in Pediatrics, and holds a Master's degree in Quality and Safety in Health Care Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, in addition to certification from the American Board of Medical Quality. She completed advanced fellowships in Pediatric Rheumatology at Children's Health Ireland and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, with a special focus on childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus. Dr. Al Mheiri dedicated 15 years to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), one of the UAE's leading tertiary and academic hospitals, where she completed her training and advanced through multiple clinical roles, most recently serving as a Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist for the past three years. She has also worked in renowned tertiary centers across Ireland and the UK, gaining extensive experience in managing complex pediatric rheumatic diseases within multidisciplinary teams. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Al Mheiri is deeply committed to medical education and mentorship, actively teaching and supporting trainees. She is a regular speaker at professional conferences across the UAE and the Gulf region and engages in public health education through social media platforms to raise awareness about pediatric rheumatic diseases and promote early diagnosis and improved outcomes for children.
