Dr. Mohammed Ali, Specialist in Critical Care Medicine at Mediclinic City Hospital's Intensive Care Unit, is American Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. Dr. Ali has extensive expertise in the management of medical, surgical, neurosurgical and trauma patients, including organ transplant patients (pulmonary, cardiac and bone marrow).
Dr. Ali gained his postgraduate and fellowship training by serving in different tertiary medical centres: Methodist, Saint Lukes, BenTaub, MD Anderson Cancer Hospital and Veterans Administration Hospitals in Houston, Texas, USA.
Before joining Mediclinic City Hospital, Dr. Ali worked as a Consultant Medical ICU physician at the New Dubai Hospital from 1998 to 2006. In May 2006, Dr. Ali transferred to Rashid Hospital as Head of the ICU Unit. Apart from his clinical work he has also been involved in training and teaching residents doctors and medical students.
Dr. Ali is a member of the Emirates Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine.
