- Dr. Nasr graduated as an OB/GYN from the Lebanese University, Beyrouth ,Lebanon in 2004. He then undertook five years' postgraduate training and a Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Fetal Surgery at Poissy Sant Germain En Laye and Necker Enfants, Malades, France. He gained a Master's in Maternal Fetal Medicine from the University of Barcelona and diplomas in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Management in High Risk Pregnancies from University of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, France, as well as a Diploma in Fetal Medicine from Univeristy of Paris V.
He has published 15 articles in peer reviewed journals amd has actively participated in international congresses as a speaker.
He has acquired skills in fetal ultrasound not only for routine and basic scanning but in diagnosis and management of different types of fetal pathology. He is an expert in fetal echocardiography, fetal cardiac physiology, fetal brain, Doppler assessment, management of multiple pregnancies and intrauterine growth restriction. He is trained in fetal therapy such as intrauterine fetal transfusion for fetal anemia, fetal shunting of obstructive bladder, amniodrainage, puncture and drainage of fetal cyst, drainage of chylothorax, laser therapy for placental anastomosis in monochorionic twins complicated by twin to twin transfusion syndrome. He has huge experience in the management of fetal pathology and high pregnancy cases from12 years practice as a consultant in Beyrouth, Lebanon.
He holds a Dual Executive Master's degree in Health and Hospital Management from Ecole Superieure des Affaires, Beyrouth and Paris Diderot, France
