Summary
Dr. Natalia Rodríguez Otero is an Allergy Specialist with broad expertise in the diagnosis and
management of a wide range of allergic conditions. Her practice is multidisciplinary and
patient-centred, integrating evidence-based medicine with an awareness of cultural and
population-specific factors influencing allergic disease.
She completed her specialty training in Allergy at Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in
Madrid, where she gained advanced experience through the hospital’s Food and Drug
Desensitisation Units. Following her residency, she continued her work at the same
institution managing both adult and paediatric patients, while also serving as Chief of
Residents and Teaching Commission Vice-President. In this role, she contributed to medical
education by organising research conferences and led the implementation of an artificial
intelligence–based model to optimise resident shift scheduling.
Dr. Rodríguez Otero completed a fellowship in severe atopic dermatitis at the University
Hospital of Zurich, funded by the Spanish Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology
(SEAIC). She has participated in clinical trials and is the author of several peer-reviewed
scientific publications, as well as multiple presentations at national and international
conferences.
She further expanded her international experience at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan within
the Multidisciplinary Advanced Centre for Asthma, Food and Drug Allergy.
Dr. Rodríguez Otero is an active member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical
Immunology, as well as the Spanish and Italian societies of Allergology and Clinical
Immunology.
