At Mediclinic City Hospital, we are always learning, growing and exploring in our effort to deliver the highest quality, compassionate, family-centred care. We have a range of paediatric subspecialties to provide the specialized care for your young ones.

All high-risk deliveries at Mediclinic City Hospital are attended by a paediatrician or neonatologist.  We have state-of-the-art delivery rooms and a full-term nursery to take care of your new-born. Our neonatal trained nurses and midwives help new mothers take care of their new-born baby, including help with breastfeeding, bathing, cleaning and other day-to-day care.  Before discharge, your baby will receive vaccinations against Hepatitis B and BCG and blood samples will be sent for new-born screening tests for common metabolic disorders in infancy.  After discharge from the hospital, your child will be followed regularly in the paediatric outpatient clinic to make sure they receive their vaccinations on time and to ensure they are growing and developing well.

Mediclinic City Hospital has upgraded and expanded its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) from 12 to 27 beds, making it one of the largest level three NICU facilities in the UAE. It comprises 17 Neonatal Intensive Care beds, two isolation rooms and 10 Neonatal High Dependency beds. Our specially designed breastfeeding cubicles with massage chairs and TVs allow mothers to breastfeed or express in comfort.
