Mediclinic City Hospital offer advanced levels of diagnosis and treatment, ensuring every patient receives the highest levels of JCI-accredited, international-standard healthcare. In addition to a wide range of general services, it also offers high level care in a number of dedicated specialist units within areas such as oncology, breast diseases, cardiothoracic surgery, neonatal and paediatric intensive care and stroke medicine, for which the hospital’s stoke unit recently received accreditation from the German Stroke Society.

The hospital has an extensive outpatient department, 27 neonatal bed, 27 ICU beds, six operating rooms plus three daycare surgery units, one C-section OT, two cardiac catheterisation laboratories, endoscopy suites, a fully equipped laboratory, emergency department, labour and post-natal wards, 24 hour pharmacy and an advanced radiology department.

In 2016, Mediclinic City Hospital extended their facility and inaugurated the North Wing, located directly across the road from the hospital’s main building.  The North Wing houses the Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Dubai’s most advanced cancer diagnosis and treatment facility, as well as a number of other units including a daycare surgery ward, dedicated endoscopy suites, extended dialysis unit, rehabilitation physiotherapy services, orthotics and prosthetics services and reference laboratory.

In a number of recent firsts, Mediclinic City Hospital became the first hospital to perform a kidney transplant in Dubai in 2016 and in 2018, surgeons performed the first robotic assisted knee replacement surgery in the Middle East.  Also in 2018, the hospital’s orthotics and prosthetics department enabled a double amputee to receive the first 3D-printed transtibial prosthetics in the UAE.
