Summary: Prof. Loai Eid is a Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist, Fellowship Program Director and Chief of Division in Kidney Centre of Excellence at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, Dubai, UAE. He is the president of Emirates Paediatric Nephrology group and council member of the AsPNA and IPNA. He was the president of the 15th Asian Congress of Paediatric Nephrology 2023 in Dubai (ACPN2023).

He completed Paediatric Residency and Paediatric Nephrology Fellowship at Children’s National Medical Centre- George Washington University. American Board Certified in Paediatrics and Paediatric Nephrology.
Prof. Eid appointed as Clinical Professor of Paediatrics and Paediatric Nephrology at Mohamed Bin Rashid University of Medicine & Health Science & Dubai Medical College since 2014. He obtained Master of Science in Health Science (Clinical & Translational Research) from School of Medicine and Health Science at George Washington University in 2013.

His clinical and academic interests include renal calculi, renal tubular disorders and genetic renal diseases. Prof. Eid is actively involved in clinical trials and research nationally and internationally. He is participating in different International and European registries. He has published articles in well-known international journals. Moreover, he participated in many regional and international meetings with lectures, workshops and guidelines.
