South African and Australian trained Women’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist Jacky holds a BSc in Physiotherapy, a Clinical Masters in Pelvic Health and Continence from Australia, an Orthopaedic Manipulative Diploma and is certified in Clinical Pilates (Reformer) as well as APPI Mat Work Pilates. Jacky has extensive experience in the field of women’s and pelvic health physiotherapy through working at various family clinics and taking part in mentorship programmes in South Africa, Hong Kong and Australia. Since moving to Dubai Jacky has worked within a wide network, collaborating with other pelvic health physiotherapists and speciality doctors. She is now the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Programme Lead at Mediclinic Middle East, heading up the development of the service. Jacky is a firm believer in returning to or maintaining the activity loved by her patients with a focus on optimising controlled and intentional movement and function. Jacky focuses on individual needs and creating tailored and progressive rehabilitation plans when targeting patient specific goals. Jacky is clinically treating patients at Mediclinic City Hospital North Wing.
