He is a graduate of the Government College of Dentistry, Indore, India. He obtained his Masters degree from the Government College of Dentistry, Goa, India. He also trained at the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, India.
He has worked as a consulting dental surgeon for various dental practices and hospitals in India and has served in the Indian Armed Forces as a Graded specialist. While serving as officiating Head of Department, Department of Periodontics and Implantology at the prestigious Army Dental Centre, Army Hospital (Research & Referral), he was awarded a commendation for exceptional work done in the field of Periodontics and Dental Implantology by the Indian Army. He is also a member of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
