Dr. Yazan Hatem Hassouna is a highly skilled and experienced General Surgeon with over
14 years of dedicated service in the field of medicine. Dr. Hassouna completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Misr University for Science and Technology in Egypt. He further pursued his medical career by obtaining a medical degree in General Surgery at Jordan Hospital, Jordan, and achieved accreditation from the Arab Board of Health Specialisation in General Surgery.
Dr Hassouna has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery as well as advanced minimally invasive anorectal disorders (haemorrhoids, fistula, fissure, pilonidal cyst etc.) using new and innovative painless minimally invasive methods.
Prior to joining Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, Dr. Hassouna worked as a Specialist General Surgeon at the Laven Clinic Group and Al Zahra Hospital, Dubai.
