Dr Deepak Janardhanan, an Indian national, is a Consultant in the Department of Urology with 17 years of clinical and surgical experience. He obtained his MBBS from RGUHS, India, in 2000, followed by an MS in 2006 and an MCh in Urology from AIMS, India, in 2012.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the European Board of Urology (FEBU) and is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. Since 2022, he has served as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Science at the University of Sharjah.
Dr Deepak is highly proficient in endourology, including advanced techniques such as laser surgery for stones and the prostate, REZUM, and PCNL. His expertise extends to male reproductive and sexual health, offering diagnosis and treatment for infertility and erectile dysfunction with options such as varicocele repair, P-Shot, and shockwave therapy. He is also experienced in managing complex cancers of the kidney, bladder, and prostate, and performs surgical treatment for female stress urinary incontinence.
He is an active member of the European Association of Urology (EAU), the Urology Association of Asia (UAA), the Emirates Urology Society (EUS), and the Urology Society of India (USI).
