Dr. Leïla Ben Salem Hachmi is an experienced Endocrinology specialist and Associate Professor of Endocrinology, with more than 20 years of clinical, academic, and teaching experience. She graduated from medical universities in Tunisia and France. She began her medical career in Tunisia, where she progressed from university physician to Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Endocrinology. She subsequently continued her clinical practice in the United Arab Emirates.
Her expertise covers general endocrinology, with a particular focus on diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, and metabolic diseases.
She is European Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and has participated in several international research studies and scientific publications. Alongside her clinical work, she has extensive experience in medical education and therapeutic education. She has also held leadership positions within professional endocrinology and diabetes organisations.
