Fatimah graduated from St. George’s University of London in 2016. She initially worked in the NHS covering a wide range of specialties including Trauma and Orthopaedics, Stroke inpatient rehab, ICU, Respiratory and General Medicine, Surgical and Medical HDU, Paediatric ward and Paediatric HDU, Gynae wards + Maternity units, Accident and Emergency (A+E), Elderly Care and Vascular wards with Amputee Rehab.
In 2019, Fatimah pursued her special interests in Neurosciences whilst working at The Royal Free Hospital in London, where as a Senior Physiotherapist she gained extensive experience working across all clinical settings. This included the acute stroke unit, the Outreach Rehab team covering ICU / complex long-stay patients and the Neuro Outpatient service.
She also spent over a year working off-site in Inpatient neuro-rehab at the NRC (Neurological rehab centre) and completed home and outpatient visits with the Community Long-term Neurological Conditions Management team (CNCMT).
Fatimah has since relocated to Dubai and now works at Mediclinic as a Senior Physiotherapist, currently based in Outpatients covering Neurological and Vestibular Rehabilitation. She is licensed by Dubai’s Health Authority (DHA) and remains a fully registered physiotherapist with the UK’s HCPC.
