Dr. Nabil Baghdadi is a board-certified specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology with comprehensive training and over a decade of clinical experience in the management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He has been practising in Dubai since 2012 and has previously served at major tertiary hospitals under the Dubai Health Authority, including Rashid Hospital and Dubai Hospital.
Dr. Baghdadi completed his medical degree in Beirut and pursued further postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, gaining certification from the Arab Board. He also holds membership in the Royal Colleges of Physicians (UK), and is an active member of the Gastroenterology Society in the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Baghdadi is experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders, including acid reflux (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and functional gastrointestinal conditions. He has a particular clinical interest in liver diseases such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease and liver cirrhosis.
Dr. Baghdadi is a skilled endoscopist, regularly performing diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures, including polyp removal, biopsy and bleeding control. He also performs specialised diagnostic tests such as esophageal pH monitoring, esophageal manometry, liver elastography (FibroScan), urea breath test and hydrogen breath test.
