Summary: Samar is a Senior Occupational Therapist specialising in Hand Therapy at Mediclinic. She obtained her BSc in Occupational Therapy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2019 and went on to complete two Master’s degrees in Physical Activity and Health, and in Neurorehabilitation. Samar has also undertaken postgraduate studies in Early Care and Evidence-Based Hand Therapy and Clinical Reasoning, and continues to expand her knowledge through various courses focused on the upper extremity and hand.

Before relocating to the UAE, Samar worked in several renowned hospitals in Barcelona, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical care and a deep passion for research. Her commitment to advancing the field has led her to hold board positions in both the College of Occupational Therapists of Catalonia and the Spanish Association of Hand and Upper Limb Therapists of which she remains an active member.

Samar has always been passionate about upper limb rehabilitation, believing that our hands are what connect us to life. At Mediclinic, she is dedicated to helping her patients regain function and return to the activities they value most.
