I am a fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. I am a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh since 2023 and holds the University diploma in Laparoscopic surgery from Strasbourg, France.
I am actively involved in training and educating medical students and junior doctors and I am affiliated with Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) as an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer in General Surgery. I am regularly presenting at Conferences to share my clinical experience and have an active research portfolio with several publications in peer reviewed journals.
Actively involved in pelvic floor and physiotherapy MDT decisions to deliver the best care for the patients with pelvic floor disorders. Specialised in laparoscopic emergency and elective surgery for benign diseases. Focusing more on the latest minimally invasive techniques for treating haemorrhoids, rectal prolapse, rectal bleeding, pelvic floor dyssynergia, chronic anal and pelvic pain, anal fistula and pilonidal sinus and treating with new techniques of minimal invasive approaches for pilonidal sinuses and complex anal fistulas by performing VAAFT and EPSIT.
