Dr Vahid Ghobadi Dana is a Specialist Paediatrician and Allergist–Clinical Immunologist with over 15 years of clinical, academic and research experience.
He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Paediatric Board Certification at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), where he later joined as an Assistant Professor at ACECR–TUMS.
In 2012, Dr Vahid co-founded the first academic and comprehensive Allergy Clinic in Iran, which has provided care to more than 50,000 patients across the country. In 2015, he ranked first nationally in the entrance examination for the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Fellowship Programme, completing his training at Rasul Akram Hospital and later ranking second in the national board certification.
Dr Vahid has been an active member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) since 2010, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) since 2016, and the Gulf Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (GAACI) since 2023. He also serves on the Board of the Iranian Society of Asthma and Allergy (ISAA).
Dr Vahid has an extensive record of scientific publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. His work has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (JACI), Immunological Investigations (UK), Dermatologic Therapy, Cellular & Molecular Biology Letters, and Heliyon. His research includes studies on drug hypersensitivity reactions, oral immunotherapy in food allergy, asthma and allergic rhinitis epidemiology, molecular mechanisms of immune regulation, and COVID-19 pathophysiology.
Since 2023, Dr Vahid has been leading the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Clinic at the Iranian Hospital in Dubai, where he provides specialised diagnosis and treatment for both children and adults with allergies and immune system disorders.
