Summary
Dr. Mogan is an experienced gastroenterologist and interventional endoscopist from the NHS (National Health Service), UK, where he has dual accreditation (CCT) in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine from the GMC (General Medical Council). He is also fully JAG accredited in gastroscopy and colonoscopy. He has 17 years’ experience in UK. He is a patient focused physician who treats his patients with respect, care, compassion and empathy.
He trained in the Southeast Thames region (London rotation) and is one of the few gastroenterologists in the UK with a major interest in pancreato biliary disease and performs advanced level endoscopy including EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), Spyglass Cholangioscopy, Ampullectomy, Luminal stenting (oesophageal, duodenal and colonic), large polyp endoscopic mucosal resection as well as general endoscopy and colonoscopy including bowel cancer screening.
His training involved experience at major centres in London including the University College Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, Guys and St Thomas Hospital; followed by a Pancreatobiliary fellowship in advanced endoscopy at the University College Hospital London and advanced EUS fellowship.
He is competent in endoscopic procedures including OGD (Variceal banding and haemostasis), GI bleeds, PEG/PEJ/NJ/NG, dilatation, oesophageal/duodenal/colonic stents, achalasia dilatation, Botox injection, foreign body removal using overtube, Diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies, Push enteroscopy, Large Polyp EMR, and haemorrhoidal banding. He is an expert in Endoscopic ultrasound including Pancreatic cyst assessment/aspiration, EUS guided cystogastrostomy, EUS guided Gastrojejunostomy and cancer staging.

He has published widely and has presented in national & international meetings. He is a JAG certified endoscopy trainer and a senior lecturer at University of East Anglia. He was the training lead and chair of HPB cancer team.

Qualification

MBBS, FRCP (London-UK), MRCP (UK), MRCP (GASTROENTEROLOGY), CCT (UK) in Gastroenterology & General Internal Medicine.
