Mediclinic's postnatal community midwife service provides by our qualified and experienced midwife team for patients in Dubai who have given birth at any of our hospitals.
These home visits are designed to give you the support you need after you have left the hospital following the birth of your baby, helping you to feel more confident during this emotional and sometimes challenging journey into parenthood.
Our aim is to offer you personalised, compassionate midwifery care when you require it most.
The midwife postnatal home visit includes:
- Postnatal care up to 28 days after birth
- Midwife postnatal assessments for mother and baby
- Breastfeeding assistance
- Physical and emotional support
- Routine wound care
- Routine perineal care
- Self-care tips, support and advice
- Education about the signs and symptoms of an unwell mum or baby and what to do in these situations
- Baby weight monitoring
- Education and information about baby safe sleeping guidelines
