I have worked in the UK for 12 years during which I worked as a consultant of family medicine for 7 years. I have been Principal at a one of the largest Northern Irish family Medical practices for 6 years during which I also qualified as a MRCGP UK GP trainer. I also have 7 Years’ experience in providing out of hours family medicine urgent care to all ages of patients.
Summary
Dr Ed Cody is a UK trained Consultant of Family Medicine. He graduated from the University Of Dundee, Scotland in 2010, then completing his residency training in the Belfast, Northern Ireland and achieving his MRCGP in 2015. In 2016 He became a family medicine principal of a very large clinic outside Belfast and dealt with all family health problems encountered over all patients ranging from very young babies to geriatric patients. His areas of speciality include men’s health, acute conditions and Ears Nose and Throat disorders.
Dr Ed also has an interest in education as an MRCGP UK trainer, teaching the next generation of Family Medicine Consultants. He also held the role of Clinical Lead for Mental Health within his Family Medicine Federation. Dr Ed believes open communication is key in establishing the cause of problems and treating all patients with a broad range of health conditions in line with a high standard of international medical guidance.
