Dr. Pawel Zwolak is a German and Swiss board-certified orthopaedic and trauma surgeon with more than 11 years of experience in the management of adult spine disorders. He is also a European board-certified orthopaedic and trauma surgeon. Dr. Zwolak joined the residency programme at University Hospital of Cologne in Germany, and then he continued his training at University Hospital Zurich in Switzerland. He did his spine fellowship in Schulthess Clinic in Zurich Switzerland. Then he returned to Germany and continued his career as an orthopaedic spine surgeon in one of biggest hospitals in Hamburg, Germany - Asklepios Clinic Altona 630 bed) . Later he joined the Department of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in Krupp Krankenhaus (650 bed) in Essen, Germany where he served as a team leader of the spine service. Further he served as senior consultant of orthopaedic spine surgery and managing senior physician in the Department of Orthopaedics at the Ruhr University of Bochum in Germany. Dr. Zwolak is specialised in treatment of adult and paediatric spine disorders. In addition he performs endoscopic and minimally invasive spine surgeries. Moreover, he serves as an editorial board member and reviewer in orthopaedic medical journals.
