Getting use to sleeping in side lying during early pregnancy is a good idea.

Make use of a pregnancy pillow or simply pillows/ blankets:

  1. Support your head on a pillow
  2. Support the bump- blanket roll/ towel roll/ pregnancy pillow
  3. Pillow between your Knees AND Ankles with knees bent towards your chest
  4. Optional- add a pillow behind the back to support and allow a slight tilt. This takes off the pressure onto the bottom shoulder
