To mark World Health Day, a campaign led by the World Health Organization, Mediclinic Middle East will be offering complimentary blood cholesterol, blood sugar, BMI and blood pressure tests to UAE residents on Sunday 7 April 2019.
This year, World Health Day builds on last year’s theme of universal health coverage, with focus on a strong primary care system.
“Mediclinic Middle East operates throughout the continuum of care, recognising the importance of essential primary care, health awareness and preventative services, combined with immediate access to vital secondary and tertiary healthcare if required. In the UAE, every resident has access to essential health services, however citizens in many other countries are not always so fortunate,” said Dr. Pietie Loubser, Chief Clinical Officer, Mediclinic Middle East. “By supporting the WHO’s campaign and offering complimentary health checks on the occasion of World Health Day, we hope to highlight the importance of such health services and the plight of those who are not able to benefit from them.”
