Manage Family Profiles with The Mediclinic App
Healthcare is a family effort - and now you can manage it all from one app.
With Family Profiles Linking, parents, spouses and caregivers can connect their loved ones’ Mediclinic profiles securely through UAE Pass.
What you can do:
- Book and manage appointments for children, parents or dependents.
- View lab results, prescriptions and vaccination records in one place.
- Coordinate check-ups for multiple family members on the same day.
This feature saves time, reduces confusion and keeps families organised. Privacy and consent are always protected, giving each member secure access only to their relevant health information.
For parents juggling school runs, working professionals supporting elderly relatives or families managing shared healthcare, the Mediclinic App ensures everyone receives timely, coordinated care.
Adding a family member to your Mediclinic app profile:
- Open the Mediclinic app and click on “Me”.
- Select “Add family member”.
- Choose your family member’s account status as prompted by the app.
- Create an access code for the family member that you wish to add.
- Share the code with your family member. They must download the Mediclinic app and enter this code on their app to complete the family linking.
- You will receive a message to confirm the successful linking of the profiles.
Sharing health information access with a family member:
- Select a family member and access “Sharing settings”.
- Slide the toggle to enable sharing access, then click on “Allow access”.
Acting on behalf of a family member:
- Enter the “Act-on-behalf settings”
- Move the toggle to enable the permissions, then click on “Allow access”.
Removing a family member from your profile:
- Click on “Remove account”.
- Type in the family member’s name.
- Press “Remove from my profile” to confirm.
