What is the Mediclinic App?
The Mediclinic App is a secure and seamless platform that lets you manage every aspect of your healthcare in one place. You can book appointments, consult doctors online, track your medical records, view prescriptions and manage your family’s health with a tap of your finger. It is available for download for iPhone, Android and tablet devices.
Is there a fee to use the Mediclinic App?
The Mediclinic App is a free service for the Mediclinic patients. You only pay standard consultation or treatment fees, just as you would during an in-person visit.
How do I sign up?
Patients who wish to sign up can do so by downloading the Mediclinic App from the Apple App Store for iOS devices and Google Play Store for android devices. Once downloaded, patients can sign up for the application via their UAE Pass or email address and confirm their details via double factor-authentication. Additionally, patients can set up a pin code or Face ID verification for secure future logins.

What is UAE Pass and why do I need it?
UAE Pass is the national digital identity solution used across government and private services in the UAE. It allows you to sign in quickly and securely to the Mediclinic App. Using UAE Pass ensures your details (such as Emirates ID, phone number and email) are verified, accurate and safely encrypted.
How can I book a doctor’s appointment using the Mediclinic App?
Simply open the app, choose your preferred clinic, specialty or doctor and view real-time availability. You can choose your preferred appointment time, appointment type (In Facility, Video or Phone) and payment method. Once these steps are complete, the confirmed booking will appear under your upcoming appointments. You can also reschedule or cancel appointments at any time, without the need to call the clinic.
Can I speak to a doctor online through the Mediclinic App?
Yes - the app offers secure virtual consultations via video or phone, allowing you to receive expert medical advice wherever you are. Each consultation is safely recorded in your Mediclinic medical file to ensure continuity of care.
What are “Virtual Clinic” and “On-demand” visits?
The Virtual Clinic allows patients to obtain immediate medical assistance by requesting an on-demand doctor. Patients will be requested to complete a symptom survey and authenticate their identification with a patient administrator prior to being connected with a doctor. The patient will have the option to conduct the on-demand visit with the doctor by video or phone.
Please note, the Virtual Clinic is only available during normal hours of operation and wait times may vary depending on doctor availability.

Can I send a question or message to a virtual clinic doctor?
No - on-demand visits through the virtual clinic are paid consultation visits. For general medical enquiries, please contact your doctor’s clinic.
Do I have to turn on my video for an on-demand doctor visit?
No – it is not required; you may request to have your consultation by phone. However, it is strongly recommended to have your video turned on to receive the highest quality of care by the doctor.
How do I access my test results and medical records?
Log in to the Mediclinic App and select ‘Medical Records’. You’ll find your lab results, imaging reports, prescriptions and visit summaries as soon as they’re available. This helps you stay informed and discuss your care confidently with your doctor.
When can I see my test results in the Mediclinic App?
Only lab tests performed at Mediclinic Middle East will be available in the Mediclinic App. All lab results will be available on the app in real-time (same day), after the result is finalised by the lab. Medical imaging (radiology) results will be available two weeks after the result is available. Please note that certain tests of a sensitive nature may not be released in the Mediclinic App.

If some of my health information on Mediclinic App is not correct, what should I do?
Your Mediclinic App information comes directly from your Mediclinic Electronic Patient Record (mEPR) at Mediclinic Middle East. Ask your provider to correct any inaccurate information at your next clinic visit. Your health information is reviewed and updated in your electronic medical record each visit.
Can I manage my family’s healthcare through the Mediclinic App?
Absolutely - with Family Linking, you can connect profiles for children, parents or dependents. This makes it simple to book appointments, view results and stay up to date with vaccinations and prescriptions - all in one place.
What should I do if I can’t link my family members on the Mediclinic App?
If you’re having trouble adding family profiles, don’t worry - there’s an easy solution.
You can visit your nearest Mediclinic hospital or clinic, where our front-desk team will help complete the process for you. They will:
- Verify your identity and confirm the required consent.
- Link the family records securely so you can manage them on the app.
Before your visit, please bring:
- The Emirates IDs of all family members you’d like to link.
- Any guardianship or authorisation documents, if applicable.
If your family member is over 18, they can create their own Mediclinic profile and link it to yours directly through the app whenever it’s convenient.
Can I make payments on Mediclinic App?
No – payment options are not available on the Mediclinic App application. Patients may carry out payment at the clinic or via a shared SMS payment link by a Mediclinic patient administrator.
Is my information safe on the Mediclinic App?
Yes - your privacy and data protection are our top priorities. The Mediclinic App ensures that all patient information is kept private and secure through UAE Pass authentication or personal login credentials. Access is strictly controlled, and only you and your authorised physician can view your sensitive medical information. You can also change your password at any time for added security.
Which Mediclinic hospitals and clinics are supported?
The Mediclinic App is available across all Mediclinic Middle East facilities in the UAE.
