Endometriosis is a chronic condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows outside the uterus and can cause chronic pelvic pain, irregular bleeding, fertility challenges and negatively affect the quality of life.
What is Chronic Pelvic Pain?
Chronic pelvic pain is persistent pain in the lower abdomen or pelvic area that lasts for six months or longer. It may or may not be related to menstrual cycles, bowel movements or intercourse and can significantly affect your quality of life.
