The social media post has not been published by Mediclinic. Mediclinic advises that people do not engage with the survey or respond. Prior to joining Mediclinic, Nicolaas worked in the South African Premier Soccer League as head of medical and sport science to the University of Pretoria Football club, as well as with elite athletes in the University’s High performance program from 2010 to 2018. He has been with Mediclinic Middle East since 2018. Nicolaas has a special interest in Sports injuries, especially tendinopathy; knee; ankle and foot injuries. He is a licenced Football and Rugby coach. His coaching education and time spent in professional sport gives him insight into all aspects of successful return to play rehabilitation.
Nicolaas has co-authored research appearing in a leading sport and exercise medicine journal and is currently working towards his masters in Sport Physiotherapy.
He is a member of the South African Sports Medicine Association, registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and licenced with the Dubai Health Authority.
