Summary
Dr. Sandra Mrad is a Lebanese Emergency Medicine specialist. She completed her residency training in emergency medicine at the American University of Beirut where she also served as the chief resident and then completed her post-training 2-year fellowship in medical education. Dr. Mrad obtained a master's degree in medical education in the health professions and a post master’s certificate in evidence-based teaching in the health professions from the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA. She also received a diploma in clinical simulation from the Lebanese American University and completed the scholars in health research program in the American University of Beirut. She is involved in the education of medical students, residents, and provided several awareness campaigns and inter-professional training courses including the tactical combat casualty care, bleeding control, and Team STEPPS training.

Dr. Sandra Mrad is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Neonatal resuscitation. She is PALS and ATLS instructor. She also received the outstanding resident award from the American university of Beirut and the “Said Al Mazroui” resident of the year award from the Middle East and North Africa clinical toxicology association.

Dr. Sandra practiced as an Emergency physician for 2 years at the American University of Beirut and Keserwan medical centers, Lebanon.

Currently she works at Mediclinic Parkview hospital, Dubai since 2020 in addition to being an adjunct clinical lecturer at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine, UAE.

Dr Mrad is also involved in motorsport medicine and is currently the deputy chief medical officer at the Dubai Autodrome.
